Notably absent from the table: no payment instrument stored by Dharmica, no analytics profile. If you used BYOK, payment lives with your model provider under their terms. If you subscribed, payment lives with Google Play / Apple App Store under their terms.
Settings → Privacy exposes two buttons. Pick the one that matches what you want to take back:
Both buttons are guarded by a confirmation dialog and require a recent sign-in (Firebase deletes the account itself only within a short window of authentication). For "Delete my account" you'll be asked to re-enter your password.
The Personal Profile screen holds what the Janm Kundali feature needs to draw your chart: name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and (if you picked a city from the curated list) the latitude, longitude, and timezone offset of that place. None of this is sent to any server.
After this, the Kundali tab will say it doesn't have enough information to draw a chart. If you prefer, you can also wipe only individual fields by tapping into them and deleting the value.
There are two layers: a lightweight list of your last 200 questions (in shared preferences) and the full session files containing the streamed four-section answer for each turn (in the app's documents directory). Both are cleared together.
This is irreversible. Your Journey tab will be empty afterwards; bookmarks you created from past answers remain unless you also clear them separately.
The retrieval bias profile nudges the app toward themes and verses you've previously engaged with. The personal LRU cache lets the app re-open recent answers without re-running a model. Both live in <docs>/profile/.
This does not delete your questions or bookmarks — only the bias and the answer cache.
Removing a key from Dharmica does not deactivate the key with the provider. To invalidate it entirely, rotate or delete it in your provider's dashboard (Google AI Studio, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
Models you have downloaded for fully-offline guidance can be large. Removing them frees the storage but you will not be able to run the on-device path until you install another.
The model file is removed from disk and the catalog entry is removed from dharmica.ai_models.installs.
This removes locally stored copies of the top-level manifest, per-entry versions, and downloaded files (HTML, JS, CSS, images, audio, video). The next visit will re-fetch from dharmica.trivartha.com/knowledge-centre/.
Theme, response language, scripture options, and the default guidance source are all settable per-screen. There is no single "reset all preferences" button today; uninstalling clears them all (along with everything else).
If you want to end your session without deleting the account:
Signing out leaves your account, history, and bookmarks in place on the server; the next time you sign in on this or another device they reappear. Your on-device preferences and any local-only state (BYOK keys, downloaded models, Knowledge Centre cache) are unaffected.
If you want the account gone entirely, see the Account Deletion page.
This is the surest way to remove everything Dharmica stored on your device — every category in §1, including the install id, BYOK keys, downloaded models, conversation history, personal profile, bookmarks, and Knowledge Centre cache. If you are signed in, your account, trial, subscription, and server-side cache entries survive an uninstall — see the next section.
The guidance server stores three kinds of durable record against you:
trials/{uid} — the UTC timestamp your trial started. Deleted when you use Delete my account in-app.quotas/{install-id} — your UTC day boundary and the number of fresh generations used. It expires naturally when the day rolls over, and is rotated by Delete my account.cache/{uuid} — the normalised question text, the embedding, and the four-section answer. Entries are not keyed by your uid or install id, so a manual deletion requires you to identify the entry (or all entries derived from your account) by content. Cache hits are not counted against your quota.BYOK requests are excluded from both stores: the question is forwarded to your provider and never reaches the cache, and the server does not retain your key beyond the request.
Cost & operational telemetry (tokens, model, cache hit) is written to Google Cloud Logging and BigQuery with no question content.
If you want the quota counter, trial record, or any cache entry cleared before its natural expiry — for example, because you would rather we held nothing at all — write to us.
SharedPreferences.) If you have a Dharmica account, your uid is at Settings → Account.adb shell run-as com.trivartha.dharmica cat shared_prefs/FlutterSharedPreferences.xml and look for the string under the dharmica.device_id key. On iOS, inspect the app's Library/Preferences/com.trivartha.dharmica.plist from a Mac with access to the device backup.
